Sophie qualified as a podiatrist with a BSc (Hons) from the University of Brighton in 1998 and went on to complete her MSc in 2009. Following graduation, she spent four years working in Canada with the University of British Columbia Sports Medicine Clinic, where she developed extensive experience in lower limb biomechanics, gait analysis, and sports injury management. Over more than two decades of clinical practice, Sophie has gained a wealth of experience in the podiatric management of biomechanical, sports, rheumatological, neurological, and hypermobility-related conditions. Sophie is recognised internationally for her expertise in podiatric biomechanics, gait analysis, orthotic therapy, and lectures to healthcare professionals both nationally and internationally. She has a particular interest in joint hypermobility and related connective tissue disorders. Sophie is a member of the Global Allied Health Professional (AHP) Working Group for the Ehlers-Danlos Society, has contributed to the Society's ECHO educational lecture programme, and is part of a multidisciplinary team in London supporting patients with complex hypermobility presentations. Her MSc research was presented at the FIP World Congress of Podiatry in 2010. In addition to her clinical and academic work, Sophie is a contributing author to the Oxford Textbook of Sports Medicine (2nd Edition) and worked alongside leading international experts within the Athletes' Village at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Amanda qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from the University of Salford in 1997 and has worked in both the NHS and private practice throughout her career. With extensive experience in lower limb biomechanics, she has developed a particular interest in running-related injuries, gait analysis, and footwear assessment. Amanda is passionate about helping runners of all abilities, from those new to running through to experienced athletes, optimise their performance, reduce injury risk, and return to activity following injury. Amanda has a wealth of experience in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs, with particular expertise in running biomechanics, footwear prescription, and footwear modification. Her knowledge of running shoes and their role in injury management and performance enhancement enables her to provide highly individualised advice tailored to each patient's needs, goals, and biomechanics.
